The warning display is not a %26quot;red light%26quot; but a text in the middle of the speedometer that reads: %26quot;Brake Service Warning. Visit workshop?%26quot; If the only thing the car needs is a change of the brake fluid, will this display disappear by itself when the brake fluid is changed? Or does the mechanic (non-dealer) need a special tool or device to turn off the warning? Any other suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.
Does a mechanic need a special advice/tool to turn off the 2003MercedesE320 brake warning light?Details below?
There is a sensor on the front brake. When the pads wear down, the sensor trips. Do the front pads and replace the sensor and the warning light should go away.
