How do I change a brake light on a 1997 GEO Prizm?

Probalbly through the trunk.

There should be a socket/connector visible if you look for them.
How do I change a brake light on a 1997 GEO Prizm?
take the nuts off the tal light housing studs in the trunk..



once you get those off, then the whole tail light assembly pops off the back,



Unscrew the bulb from the housing



then replace the bulb... make sure the bulb is firmly seated and then test the tail light by stepping on the brake, and turning on your flashers...



If the reverse lights dont work replace them while you have the tail light apart, and double check by turning the key on but not startting the engine...



apply the parking brake fully, and after making sure the car wall not roll, then shifting into reverse and checking the lights.



if everything works then just reassemble the tail light back into the fender panel.
